First bee of the season

We went to Chawton house today, where there was a fantastic display of snowdrops and amazingly, the first bees of the season were buzzing about.

I was very glad that I had the oreston lens with me ;)

Randomly, there were also a couple of falconers at the house as well and they just happened to be flying their Harris hawks to and from the chimney pots.  (Apparently they do daily hawk walks, starting from the house.)  The extra shows Trinity, the larger, female hawk.

Stay safe tomorrow, everyone!
