Embleton beach

The rain stopped but it was still very windy, though that didn't stop us going for a walk north along the coast past Dunstanburgh Castle to the beach.
It was quite hard taking pics as it was hard to stay still but this section was not quite so windy. 
Then back behind the dunes and inland of the Whinsill, just under 6 miles.
Mid-afternoon the wind had eased slightly and it was still lovely so I went for a run on a shorter version of the route which didn't go down to the beach.
Tomorrow looks pretty rough so I expect we'll be in for a good part of the day.
