Doorway

We see quite a lot of fancy, late Georgian architecture round here, even if some of it's all fur coat and no knickers, with hefty repair bills hidden behind the facade. So here's something not the least fancy, from the time of George I. As you can see from the weathered stone and eroded lime mortar, this doorway might well have been filled in by the time they got to George II. Latterly it's been a builder's store. Neither knickers nor fur coat.
