New routines
We've been trying to install some apps on her phone across the miles. But her phone was too old and rubbish. We've spent time yesterday and today putting her on my old phone so she could have them. Today we started new habits of taking time with both of the apps - I've been looking forward to being able to use this one with her as a way of doing quiet time together, across the miles that we are apart, and she really liked it.
We've had a challenging day in many ways. But she's had a lot of fun too. She spent the morning with Steph. They went for breakfast, did a couple of errands and then went to the centre. Katie volunteered for the minting, fetching carrying and sorting. She then got to enjoy the cafe for the first time before Emily brought her home to me. She had a couple of hours in her room until she went to meet hattie for a walk on the pastures.
We had a few hours together, for tea and some old school Sabrina the Teenage Witch and then Emma and I surprised her and Lydi with a sleepover. They were brining Lydi home from jujitsu and just rocked up to our house. I sent Katie to the door. When she turned round, I was stood behind her holding a ready packed bag!
