Meet Miss Grove

. . . . The one in the cube. The woman at the desk is Nichola. Miss grove has to stay in that glass box for 6 weeks before staying in 5 other boxes around the world including boxes in Cairo, Jarnac and a place in Japan. No blips recently as I went away and was busy. I got the pix but couldn't get the time to blip them.
Another glorious day on Skye. Skye is about to get a new name "Eillean Na Chior" It has a lot of people foaming at the mouth. The non Gaelic speakers because they don't get the importance of Gaelic to many Scots. The Gaelic speakers because they think that it's not the right name. The tourist industry because they think nobody will want to go to Eillian na Chior - or know what it is. Me, I think its no big deal but the name means Island of Mists and as such is a bit of silly, Tolkeinesk, romantic rubbish. More McDisney than a proper name. I bet it was dreamt up but some tourism consultants. Tourism is god here. I give tourism 10/15 more reasonable years. After that . . . . from the misty isle - I haven't the foggiest.
