Moonset

Last day of this half term and it started with a beautiful moonset behind Alborán Hills. The top of the block next to mine was glowing in the promise of a lovely day as the sun rose behind me.

It is a sad indictment of today's parenting that young teenagers think it quite acceptable to slouch at their desk, keep hoods and caps on during class and then answer back and argue the toss when you ask them perfectly civilly not to.

Whatever happened to common courtesy, manners and respect for teachers? It just makes our jobs a lot harder.
