Amaryllis

A friend gave me an amaryllis bulb as a Christmas present. It's opening now and I sent her a photo of it yesterday. I tried to recreate that image today for Flower Friday. Thanks to BikerBear. As you can imagine I've processed this quite a bit. In reality it is a pretty pink colour which cheers up a grey February day.

We are forecast snow but it's actually just horrible rain. I don't think we're in for the very damaging winds further south. Stay safe everyone in Eunice's path.

We have picked the worst weekend to plan a mini escape. Weather and the Edinburgh bypass permitting we're heading to the coast for a couple of nights. Blip engagement might be sporadic.
