Rowntree Wharf

This is quite a common image of the old wharf which now contains flats. To the right of the picture you can see the river facing blocks of apartments and student accommodation where once there was the landing point for the paper used in printing the York Evening Press. I used to work in offices within Rowntree Wharf, first in the roof area and then when we outgrew that accommodation we moved to the groundfloor office suite. Happy days.
