Timely

I watched the time ball on the Nelson Monument drop today - the first time I've (knowingly) done so. I normally forget all about it when I'm up Calton Hill, but the presence of a few tourists expectantly looking up towards it at around 1 o'clock reminded me of it, so I stood, expectantly looking up at it, rattling off the odd photo.

Like them, I think I was a tad underwhelmed by the experience. I think watching the one o'clock gun might be a bit more exciting.
