Jolly Potter Pub
I'm a sucker for genuine old pub style and memorabilia, so searched out this pub whilst waiting for the vet yesterday. The sign above the bar "Bass From the Wood" was of particular note. 

Unfortunately owned by a major national pub company, just three "tied" boring draught hand-pull ales, as per contract. Nevertheless, a wonderful place to be.

The shy early doors locals and barmaid exited for this shot. In traditional pub style, we all talked together about this and that. 

Chronic Pain Research Webinar
Last night I dialled into the inaugral pain science journal club for the pain group I'm a member of We talked around a presented scientific paper and shared our relevant personal experience and provided input for additional research ideas, which was the main point. Interesting to hear what people from Canada and the US had to say.
