Last one standing . . .
We left St Ives today after a wonderful time, in spite of the weather. It was blowing a hoolie - hard to stand up some of the time as we were putting 'stuff' back into the vehicle. Some of the gusts were forceful - but we managed.
We had a steady, careful drive home and arrived safe and sound thankfully. Lots of debris on the roads and only one closure that we had to detour around - when we were about 5 miles from Barnstaple - so not a difficult trip, thankfully.
Saw this single tree standing strongly all by itself so thought it needed to be blipped with some daffodils in the field. We were told that when daffodils are left in the field they re used for bulbs - so these must be for next year's crops.
Take care out there.....
