Past their Best

A day (and night) with the little one…as he arrived bright and early we managed to fit a reasonably dry walk in before lunchtime. He came complete with a pair of mittens for a change, unfortunately only one arrived home with us despite me retracing our steps…perhaps it’ll turn up tomorrow!

Thankfully Storm Eunice has been most noticeable here by her absence…no sleet or snow and the winds have been veritably calm in comparison to earlier this week, hopefully I’ve not spoken too soon!

The alstroemerias are definitely past their best but they’re providing a little much needed colour still. My little cherub in extras…with only one mitt :-)
