Nerve-wracking

It's been a nerve wracking afternoon. What with storm Eunice and the Ladies Team GB Curling semi-final. The latter was three hours of nail-biting, stomach-churning fretting. But finally they won through to the final. Go for it girls!

We seem to have  survived Eunice without any damage (so far at least). It's always a worry when the wind blows as we are surrounded by trees in our neighbours' gardens.  The extra was an attempt to capture the swaying branches with a slow shutter speed.

After the curling we went on an emergency mission to the local shop to get some calming chocolate. There was quite a lot of debris , a few over-turned  wheelie bins and the odd loose fence panel but we didn't see any real damage. Parts of Farnham have been without power so we are lucky.

Looking forward to two curling finals over the weekend.
