The Calm

Before the storm.

Possibly not the best day to spend driving down the country but needs must.

It was pretty horrid, torrential rain and sleet at the beginning, Alf had a bit of a sideways moment but caught the slide in time and avoided binning it ( technical term ). Unlike a poor chap in a BMW 7 series who ended up in the barriers ( he was out of the car so was ok ).

That was all before we got onto the M6!

The rest of the trip was slow, lots of rain, very high winds but we didn’t see much damage.

Home now, curry ordered.
