Stormy weather

Well its certainly been windy here with high winds coming in during the night as Storm Eunice arrived.  They were probably at their peak in the morning just as the refuse collectors arrived.  I had thought of popping down to the beach then and took a few steps outside but when I saw a dustbin lid flying through the air decided against it.  

Around lunchtime the winds had eased a little and I walked down to the beach.  It was still fairly windy and down by the estuary where its more open it was gusting more strongly.  The sea not surprisingly had turned a red colour due to the red sand further out.  Let's hope there is not too much damage for people.
