Innergelly Doocot
Went to Kilrenny for our walk this morning, but I think it was a bad choice. Although it was lovely and sunny and bright there was mud and puddles everywhere. Just exhausting trying not to slip in the mud. Took this shot of the doocot (dovecote) from the car park as we arrived.
After our walk I stopped off at the Co-op for a few things, then home in time for Hannah’s arrival.
It’s been all go since then. We made cup cakes and iced and decorated them, then played practically every game I have. Hannah spent a long time trying to teach Geordie to roll over! It was all just one big game to him as long as she kept handing out the treats. I don’t think there’s any chance he will ever roll over. That’s probably a trick too far.
They are both in bed now. Hannah went to sleep holding Geordie’s paw. It was lovely to see.
We’ve been fortunate here so far in seeing no sign of storm Eunice, but I know it’s a different story elsewhere. Be careful and stay safe everyone.
