The Ex Bus Rider

Here is a series of images of a young man S who rode my bus when he was in elementary school. Unbeknownst to both of us for quite awhile, it turned out I was friends with his mother in law. And his wife , who has the elephant puppet in the upper rt. corner, grew up on the street behind ours. After several long chats we realized I had been his bus drive many moons ago!

Now he's grown up ...has been a teacher and has authored three children's books. Here he is playing with one of his nieces while his wife looked on. He was a pleasure to have on the bus, and is a joy to watch as a young man now. I'm glad he loved riding my bus too...I now have a signed copy of one of his books:)
