Mid century modern chairs
Chairs with history
Cycled and swam first thing, then had a procession of contractors for bids. Short walk around the local streets.
Some more pots and a spare oven moved out, and these chairs. Back story : my parents bought them at a roup in Aberdeenshire in the early 70s. In the early 80s they gave them to me as easy chairs for my first flat in Edinburgh, for which I made curtains with the chintz fabric on the chairs. They moved to my next house in Wiltshire, where I reupholstered them in the floral chintz, then they moved out to Los Altos with me. So, genuine mid century modern, made of mahogany, I was told. They've gone to someone else to be their first lounge chairs.
