Isolation - Day 5

I received my first isolation food delivery today. It did not include any marzipan, but it did include some fruit. The fruit in the photograph instead are my last remaining marzipan fruit from Christmas.

The result from the PCR test came through in the morning at 6:15 am. Unsurprisingly it was positive. Having had three successive lateral flow tests it would have been surprising had it been otherwise. Tomorrow is day six since the symptoms first manifested themselves, and is the first day when I might hope for a negative test leading to release on day 7.

There was a dusting of snow overnight and a very cold day with brilliant sunshine. Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer and should melt the ice ad remaining snow.
