Snowdrops in the snow
Today the sky was blue and the sun was warm. It was a total contrast to yesterday's snow and wind. We were inspired to take a little drive to Mugdock Country Park where the bottle bank is conveniently close to the garden centre cafe. Down in the village the snow had completely disappeared. Up on the hill some was still lying.
Every time we look at the news there are more pictures of houses with trees on top of them so we've decided our giant conifers which are close to the house in the back garden have to go. That's just a few of them in the extra. It's sad to cut down trees but when they are gone we'll be able to plant a few native trees and fruit trees which will not only look better but provide much needed biodiversity to our garden. It will also open up the view of the hillside behind us.
