Embracing my inner Geek (Sils281)

Our daughter says I should embrace my inner geek - so I have spent most of today footering with the micro controller kit I bought so I can explain the examples to James, our grandson.

Rhetorical question:  who am I kidding?  Hence the Silly Saturday tag!

This circuit is about digital inputs and outputs, I have put a tilt switch as the 'set' and let the normal push switch be the 'reset' to make a nudge or tilt detector. 

The software for this is very simple so James should be able to follow it I should be able to explain it to him effectively :-)
