And nothing is impossible in my all powerful mind

What a difference the sun makes!

I was so tired last night, and I was uber grumpy when I woke at 6.  But i played a repetitive game til I felt sleepy again, and fell back over until 9.30.  Result. 

Sun was shining when we woke and we agreed on Allotment,  library, shops, cat flat, rice tarts. 

Mum dropped by and halted preparations for a little while but then we were off and running. 

All was good at the Allotment, the onions, garlic, and shallots are coming on great.  We hadn't lost anything in the winds.   

We had a stroll round and realised that very little had been damaged at all - we are pretty sheltered up there, look at the height of the trees.  It's like a little micro climate in there. 

The woodpeckers were back and banging their heads willynilly while we were there.  It was great to hear them, and have the sun on our faces. 

Then it was down to the library - had my books in (i'm not recommending the last one).. and picked another couple. I opted for Kate Atkinson again, although her's was the last one I read, and it really confused me. 

Then a quick walk round the town - checked out the cookery shop for a thermometre, nope.   Resisted the urge for anything else. Bought a wax melt in Bearing Gifts.. Coconut and Bergamot.  The house is smelling delicious right now.

Then home for a little lunch, and the cat flap. 

Oh my heavens.  What a palaver that was.   Himself got it all fitted and in, and then I swept up the cottage, and laid a piece of carpet for Beanie, and then we popped Beanie in, and let her back out.  

Then we tidied the garden a little, and stuck her back in, trying to encourage her to come out herself. 

I sat in the garden for thirty minutes and she sat looking at the door,  looking at the flap, gazing round.  Then she got in her box,  and went to sleep.  We stuck Beau in too - cause she is in and out her cat flap all the time.  Have a look at the link - she wouldn't come out either.

Eventually Beau came out - and left Bean in her Gousto box  (maybe I made it too welcoming for her).  Two hours later I spotted the wee face at the window.  She made it out!!! she made it out!!  Wonder if she'll go back in.
