Got myself re-hooked on a long-lost hobby

ever since my niece gave me a little kitset plane to build at xmas (full story on 30 January blip), I've found myself back into this old hobby with a bit of a vengeance.
I dug out two old kits some friends had given me years ago and put those together (see 22 March 2013), and when that wasn't enough, I jumped online and bought this dream-machine - Mercedes Mclaren SLR 722.
Not even close to being finished yet - only gravity and delicate placement is holding it all together for this shot - soon after it was stripped back down to all it's bits and pieces - plenty to do before it's ready for a 'drive' (I wish!).
When I finally get around to finishing it, the doors will swing up to take a look inside, and the hood will lift up to reveal the most nasty looking V8 engine ever seen - in plastic and metal, and miniature :-(
