Freedom to Choose

The freedom to choose where we perch, sometimes lands us on a tangled mess that is harder, than we ever could have imagined, to unravel. Sometimes only Grace can sort it out. As we look on while friends, family, neighbors, struggle with the choices they've made...or should I say, the outcomes of having made the choices they have made...it can be so terribly hard to stand by and allow them to have their way, when you really believe there is a better way.

From the Book of Matthew, Chapter 5. The words of Jesus:
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled,

Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called the sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
