The calm after the storm, it seems that we have a storm and then the next day is sunny. The temperature did drop quickly last night, but there was not as much ice around as I expected. 
When I was out for a drive this morning, I noticed several cars in the Flag Pond parking lot. I know that people surf in that area, so I stopped to watch them for a bit.
Later I headed out to Lawrencetown Beach, expecting to see more surfer there, but it must have been too rough for them The ocean was much kinder at the Flag Pond.
