Tanker fire

We were up at 4.30 this morning and off to the airport to drop Diane for her flight to Japan.

This afternoon a tanker that was sitting at the harbour started belching really thick grey smoke which soon turned black, not sure if it was an engine fire but we watched the fire trucks arriving and it was a good fifteen minutes till the smoke stopped, by the time it was over much of the west of the city was covered in smoke.

I really do have a great vantage point.
