Exploring with the Lexiers! Built in 1884 for 3 million dollars, railroad magnate, Henry Plant’s Tampa Bay Hotel had 511 rooms! After he died the city of Tampa bought it in 1905 for $123,000. It is now home to The University of Tampa!
