Storm Eunice

We were very lucky and didn’t see too much damage around us as the wind whirled away.  

I was desperate to hit that sunny patch in the distance as this was my walk back home from the hairdressers. Hail started just as I headed home so the strong wind had it slapping me in the face - ouch!

We get a break over the weekend from the kitchen work. We cleaned up a bit but there is not point doing much until they finally finish on Tuesday. Well, finish phase 1 at least! We will have to make the most of the next few weeks before phase 2 starts at Easter!  At least that shouldn’t be so messy (I hope!)
