Broad beans

It was quite the action-packed day, involving the market, football and socialising as well as the allotment - but, true to form, I forgot to take any photos of the more exciting stuff.

D had got a last minute offer of a spare ticket to the match at Easter Rd - and the opportunity to catch up with his old friend PB who was across from Fife. Malc, too. I went to the allotment, did a bit of digging and sowed some broad beans in the gaps that have appeared.

Then in the evening we went to the Cutting Chai with Trev and C, preceded by a meet-up for me and Trev in the Bullfinch in order to see his ideas for a cover photo (great ideas, natch!). Food in the CC was excellent again.
