Susan flew back to Aberdeen form Kenya today - so great to hear her joyful wee voice again. She will drive down to Gourock tomorrow to see M&D so instead of heading home, I'm staying here til Thursday.

Took the parentals shopping - what an ordeal... I will forever wonder why they prefer that to online shopping.

Dad's heart nurse came in today - and began making a care plan with him. She was very frank with me so I had to mull that for the rest of the day. I maintain a reasonable perspective but struggle to keep reminding my mother what is happening. Once I go, she will once again forget and that is probably best...

Good news - a visit to an old family friend last week has brought M&D a new cleaner! A young man! I have some of his flyers to share with others who have struggled to find someone!
