On extremely wet days...

... I am often drawn to the photogenic cobbled Market Place in nearby Knaresborough.

I was rather surprised to find someone sitting on a very damp bench eating fish and chips. I think he saw my camera and lowered his head to avoid recognition.

He was sitting on an adjacent bench to the statue of Mother Shipton, who always looks at her most photogenic when wet.
