Tulip in the bud

There's this tulip bud in the latest bouquet turning more colourful by the hour, even though there's hardly any light today with stormy winds and rain all the time. I think eventually the tulip will be orange and yellow, might be one for a series of photographs. For now it will represent colour and texture and I chose texture as the next optional theme for this coming Thursday's  Abstract Thursday challenge. The tag will be AT348.

With all wind and rain and more expected tomorrow we haven't been able to clear the garden of most of the debris from Eunice but at least the two fallen trees have been sawn into pieces, poor things, and stalled in a safe place . It does mean more light in the garden and the house and possibly more sunlight on the solar panels, a little bit of a silver lining. Thanks very much for your kind comments and stars for yesterday's shocked kitchen device.
