Fallen tree

A grey, wet, miserable day today, but at least there was no appreciable wind - although there are yellow warnings of wind for this area as Storm Franklin approaches (who chooses these names?).

We ventured out a bit further today and saw more storm damage from Friday's winds.  This fallen tree by the roadside was just coming into bloom.  The lovely blossom will be sadly missed.  On the whole I think we escaped lightly compared with some areas.
