Get Back

I went back to Woking cinema this afternoon - now reopened, following refurbishment, as the Nova cinema - to watch the film of the Beatles rooftop Get Back concert. I was a bit of a Johnny-no-mates as I couldn't persuade my wife or daughter to come with me, and there was only one other person in the cinema with me. Not that my near solo attendance spoilt my enjoyment at hearing The Beatles performing so brilliantly. Full marks too to Debbie in the Apple building reception who was excellent in stalling the two hapless police officers trying to get the "noise" turned off. I was 18 when that took place and studying for a degree in Bournemouth but oh to have been in Savile Row, London that day.
