Walk

The weather was better today and we had planned a walk with G&M and Scout.  We met at 11.00 at Lamberhurst for a 5 mile circular walk.  Muddy, muddy, muddy with a few trees down but the weather stayed dry ish.  The end of the walk goes through the church yard where I snapped a picture of snowdrops which were like a carpet!  

We had booked lunch for 1.30 and got back to the car park and changed out of muddy boots.  The car park was empty which was ominous and our fears were well founded as the pub was locked.  
 We drove to the next village and found another pub serving Sunday lunch.  Delicious meal with lots of vegetables and great service - this saved the day!  Turned out the village had a power cut since power lines had been down as a result of the storm.  

Home for a relaxing evening watching  Emma which was filmed at Firle Place where No.1 will be marrying next year.  Exciting.
