Thank you #73

Today I was given some daffodils as a thank you for helping out with the use of a space during Children’s Mental Health week. I really didn’t need a thank you, but they are much appreciated, especially being daffs. I am finding that the mental health of a lot of our students has been effected by the various lockdowns and restrictions imposed with this frayed virus. In fact a few of us were discussing the point that it seems to have really thrown out Yr12’s off kilter. They are the year group who didn’t sit their GCSE exams and lost time at school in Yr10 too. It’s actually quite worrying. It’s hard on them and on us as we try to find ways to engage them and have them contribute to lessons. Here’s the result…I’ve worked these socks right off.

That is all.
