Sourdough

My first attempt at making sourdough bread. The shape left much to be desired - too flat and spread out, but it was nice and moist and tasty. Quite pleased for a first attempt and have learnt a few key points to amend for the next attempt.
I went to pick up two of my grandchildren and to do a few jobs in their new home. The continuing storms have a lot of water to drain away. The river in the village has burst its banks to cover surrounding fields. On the roads there were a number of dips filled with water. We have water lying in our garage but nothing major. Unfortunately Ms S is unwell with a high temperature and streaming cold, so we decided that it is best for them not to come and stay after all. One of them also was feeling unwell with a cold. So far, Covid tests have all been negative.
