Canaletto's Modern London

I am sorry I have been away for so long but I am now playing catch up with you all. I left off going to London for a few days to see the International Wildlife Photographer of the year exhibition at the Natural History museum. We then went over to the south bank where a friend of mine had an image exhibited at the National Landscape photographer of the year exhibition. On our way back we crossed over the Thames and the late afternoon light gave me the impression of one of Canaletto's paintings when he lived in that city. I just wondered if this would have been his modern interpretation.
