Best Seen In Daylight

Here is the "spooky" sculpture revealed in daylight.

It is a quite remarkable work. I should explain that is of the Sculptor’s wife who was suffering from breast cancer. He created a series of sculptures at different times.

Sadly he died shortly after his wife.

Today was a beautiful sunny spring day; quite a change from other areas. We visited two antique centres on the north side. We came across several illustrations from medical books, one of which was called ‘Deep Section’.

They were beautifully drawn, but it was easy to leave them hanging on the display well.
