For the Old Man
Less of the 'old' I think he might be saying when he reads this!
It's Dad's Birthday this coming Sunday. As he is going away for a relaxing week in Dorset on Friday with my Step-Ma Jenny & their towering doggy Golly, we decided a mid-week-meet would be very nice.
After mine & Jen's days at the Office's, and Ri & Dad's day out in Brighton, we made out way to the brilliantly old & extremely characterful Bent Arms in Lindfield. Sitting by the open fire, we enjoyed some local beers with the fresh, warm provided, all tucked into splendid, huge plate-fulls of hearty pub grub, & even had enough space to have a few mouthfulls of a very chocolatey dessert afterwards! It really was very good.
Even though it looks like I have taken this myself with my verrry long arm, thanks instead goes to Jenny for taking this nice, cheerful shot of Monkey, Pop & Ri
Dad likes his smellies, so in a stroke of genius, we'd all got him a range of different scents to add to his collection.
A lovely evening, rounded off with a nice cuppa, a chat about the late, great Thatcher & a few games on the Wii.
First rate.
