Storm Damage

The A10 at the end of our road was blocked when a couple of trees fell down across it this afternoon so all the traffic was diverted through the village. Took Deb 50 minutes to get back from the garden centre about 2 miles.
This morning it was still rough so I went into the greenhouse and potted up the tomatoes and planted some peas in module pots never tried that before we will see if they are earlier.. Also planted some ranunculus roots in pots. Never grown these before but they look nice and colourful.
I have glued the cardboard strengthening pads on the organ puffs.
Later I went to walk to have a look at the new small village shop on the new estate in the next village . It is only small but has the essentials and will be a bit nearer that going to the main shops in the other direction.
Another windy day hope the rest of the week is better.
