I’m looking at the man in the Mirror

Today at work my Boss said

‘Give me a photo’

I said, ‘to whom are you referring’

The big boss said to him (for we were chatting on teams), ‘yes, your specification is ambiguous’

‘You, helen, the one we have of you, you have a ruler on front of your face.

Me, ‘so you can measure my brilliance’

Boss: ‘can we just have an up to date photo of you for our company information; you are an important part of the company and we need to let people see who is behind the name’

This is the photo I sent him.

Apparently they had already had a discussion pointing out the picture they had put in their draft had my ruler in it. And the big boss said, ‘ yeah you try and get her to give us a normal photo’

So the next comment from
Big Boss ‘point proven’.

I also sent them one of me shaded behind the Venetian blinds; a close up of my bloody eye last Christmas. And one from when I was ten.

I think they sum me up perfectly
