Spring Planting: Onion Sets!

The snow pack we had in our yard all winter finally melted last weekend, and the ground was workable, so we decided it was time to plant!

A relative had kindly provided me with an Easter gift of a bag of onion sets. I could tell that most of them would be sweet onions.

However, it did look as though there might be a few questionable characters mixed in among the bunch there in the back row. The kind who just might make you cry.
