A Stormy Place

This row of houses between Haworth and Bradford is named the Bay of Biscay.  I've often wondered why, but I'm afraid I have been unable to find out.
I wonder if it has been especially rough there during the current spate of storms - it was certainly very windy whilst taking this Blip.
