The storm arrived mid morning, and boy did it arrive, it broke windows in the town and the roof off some flats. On my walk to Jean’s , it brought me to a halt a couple of times, and there were so many trees down or damaged, but I made it there and back without being hit by any. It was quite scary though, especially when during blasts of wind, trees start creaking.
I was glad to get home and see that my trees were still standing and also my fences, just.
