JUST FABULOUS

Early church service today.
8am with the Rev. Then I meet up with 14 friends….(mostly couples but sadly The Rev was on duty so he wasn’t able to join us). We travelled up to London with a bit of difficulty due to closed stations and trespassers on the line.
Then in 3 teams of 5 we did a treasure hunt/ walking quiz. It wasn’t too tricky but great fun…2 hours later and after 16,000 steps we met up in a pub. No idea who won!!! We then contemplated food…..where could we get a table for 15!?!?!?
#this is us near Leicester Square at a lovely Italian restaurant….we knew one of the guys who works there. He used to have a local restaurant where most of us often used to visit. We had a lovely meal with wine, coffee and limoncello for £20!!!!! He gave us free starters, 2 extra bottles of wine and nearly 2 bottles of limoncello!!!! Very happy diners.
Transport home was also a bit tricky but arrived back home about 8:30…..dry as the planned rain didn’t arrive until our walk back to the station.
