The Cathedral of Learning
I have never before been to a place quite like this. The Cathedral of Learning is a dauntingly tall, 40 floor tower. The interior houses a variety of rooms, including open study halls, offices and 29 Nationality Rooms, classrooms each themed to their own specific country. The building is both a tourist attraction and a place of study for University of Pittsburgh students. Lectures are still held on a regular basis.
As a student myself, I don't know what possessed me to take a picture of others students studying. Some unwritten fundamental law of tourism I expect.
