My title was too long. Must learn to control myself in future.

As you have probably gathered, the tripod made its debut this evening. Oh yes, quite an event.

Although it's not a particularly cool thing to be carrying around, it does make you feel a bit more like a proper photographer. Unless of course, some friendly passer-by decides to comment: 'Ooh Crikey, you are prepared aren't you!' in an astonishingly patronising manner which instantly downgrades you from 'proper photographer' to 'boy scout'.


The blip that never happened:

A group of eight men in their late forties doing the hokey-cokey. Would have loved a photo but couldn't risk becoming ensnared in the hokey-cokey circle of fun. I'm sure you understand.
