Duck cake
Sgoil-àraich drop off for the 3 little ones. On the way home I did a few hours work for a friend then came home for lunch and made bread. I ordered some flour and grainy bits from Shipton Mill, the malted rye grains smell divine. When S got home she asked me for about 15 solid minutes if we could make a ‘duck cake’ but struggled to elaborate exactly what that meant so we made a banana bread with chocolate chips. Blip is S getting her apron on ready for baking, extra is bread on its final prove and the finished ‘duck cake’.
