Looking East fom Mrs B's Allotment

Mrs B and a friend have had their names down from an allotment for some time now.

They made top of the list last week and chose one of the available plots.

Went round back of 8.00 Came with spade,fork,flask of tea and ipod and a few hand tools to:

- measure how big it was (58feet long by 22 feet wide)
- secure the corrugated sheets to the fence to stop them crashing with the wind
- size how much chicken wire is needed to keep the rabbits out
- weeding, lots and lots of weeding....

Had the whole place to myself - it was great!

Awaiting the very kind donation of a second hand shed now. Once rebuilt then I'm more than happy to nip to the allotment to work now and again for a wee bit grafting, then some shed time.....
